A quick visit to the Califon Fireman’s Carnival, Califon, NJ

I paid a little visit to the Califon Fireman's Carnival tonight and made this drawing. Califon is a great little town in northwest New Jersey with a lot of scenery pretty much everywhere you look. It is even home to a celebrity! The bridge on main street, was the inspiration for the bridge in the classic Christmas movie, 'It's a Wonderful Life'.

I usually try to visit a carnival if one is around.  They are great places to go draw the people and rides, and most of them, like this carnival is held in support support a great cause, like a local church or fire department. The two drawings below are ones that I made last year when visiting the same carnival.
